BiographyHi, I am Guangying Chen (陈光颖). Welcome to my website! I am currently on the 2024-2025 job market.
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Quantitative Marketing at Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis, advised by Professor Tat Y. Chan and Professor Dennis J. Zhang. One stream of my research implements field experiments and utilizes causal inference and structural models to study the interactions between recommender systems on social media platforms and users’ content consumption, production, and privacy protection. Another stream of my research focuses on developing causal-inference statistical methods to address identification challenges in marketing research, such as IV estimation without the exclusion restriction.
